This in an abecedarian poem that I had written during class. I chose this type of poem because I thought it would be fun and challenging to write a poem with every line starting with the next letter in the alphabet (which it was), it took me a bit to find the Z, but it was fun and very much worth it! The story of the poem is myself, my own thoughts. I’ve been writing a lot about love and it’s because I am in love, it’s caused me to think of a much happier future than I was thinking I was going to have, so it means a lot to me and it makes me very happy.

Before this class I loved poetry but I didn’t do it much and all of it was free style. But after this class I still love doing free style but I don’t mind writing it with structure and trying new things. I also used to not write about emotions much but lately I have been writing poetry based around emotions, feelings, and it’s really nice writing about new things! Before this class I loved poetry but after it I’ve gained a new appreciation for it.
